Martin Elliott, Executive Director

Mr. Elliott joined FreeTheGnomes.com as President in September 1998. He also, currently, has another much more mainstream job. Prior to joining the cause, Mr. Elliott wallowed through life almost oblivious to the plight of the Gnomes. Although he considers himself a reasonably intelligent person and a good American, looking back he can't help but feel stupid when he considers how ignorant he was of the state of Gnome Oppression in the world, 'I can't believe what an idiot I was' he has been heard to say on more than one occasion. Mr. Elliott claims to hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Western Ontario.

John Leckie, General Counsel
	Mr. Leckie joined FreeTheGnomes.com as General Counsel in September 1998. Mr. Leckie is an attorney in Chicago and works at a leading financial institution. Mr. Leckie holds a Juris Doctor from the Springfield School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami. Mr. Leckie is a passionate and vocal defender of liberty and an avid supporter of gentle woodland creatures.
