Topic: Investigate the state of gnome oppression in a country other than the United States. Feel free to draw on other existing forms of oppression in those states today.
Details: Submissions must be between 450 and 500 words and must be submitted via email to contest@freethegnomes.com by July 4, 2006, along with the authors name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and campus club name, if applicable. Email HTML text or Microsoft Word format only. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st qualified essay received, the most compelling essay, the most irreverent essay, and for the campus with the most qualifying essays submitted. Prizes are FreeTheGnomes t-shirt and feature placement on FreeTheGnomes.com. As a special bonus for campus club members, the Campus with the most qualified essay submissions will also receive automatic campus club certification.
